the past twenty years, SASMA programs have been very rich with dozens of
activities. They may be classified into two categories;
domestic and foreign.

A variety of activities such as a training course for
athletes physiological evaluation, a training course for physiotherapists,
an Olympic Solidarity Asian Sports Medicine Course, hosting the Arab Sports
Medicine Executive Bureau Meeting.

SASMA has also contributed regularly to several activities
including the International Day of AIDS, World Health Day, National Week
of Nutrition, the International Day for the Fight against Smoking,
Doping Control Program of the 8th Pan-Arab Games, Preparation
for the Sports Medicine M.Sc and Ph.D Program of the Prince Faisal Sports Medicine Hospital and the 4th Sports Medicine
Workshop of the Prince
Faisal Sports Medicine Hospital.
Foreign

SASMA has always been active in attending almost all the
Meetings, Symposia, Conferences and Congresses of the Arab Sports
Medicine Federation – the G.C.C Sports Medicine Committee – Asian
Federation of sports Medicine – the International Sports Medicine
Federation.

SASMA attended editions of the IOC World
Conference for Sports Science.

SASMA attended many sports medicine events organized by other
national sports medicine federations all over the world.

An Arabic
translation of the 2003 WADA Anti-doping Code. It was the first Arabic
copy to be published and distributed to all the national and regional
competent organizations.

issues of the biannual Saudi Journal of Sports Medicine.

2004 SASMA Members Directory.

“Juniors and Traffic Accidents”,
a leaflet issued as a contribution to the W.H.O celebration of the
